The Commander of the Somaliland National Army, Brigadier General Nimcaan Yuusuf Gaaxnuug, inspected several National Army barracks in the city of Burao today, specifically the 12th Division Headquarters.
The Commander met with officers from the 12th Division Headquarters, inquiring about the general status of the command and listening to briefings regarding military operations and the division’s overall situation.
Brigadier General Nimcaan Yuusuf Gaaxnuug also visited the National Army Hospital in Burao, where he inspected the facility’s various departments and the medical services provided to the troops.
The Commander stated that the National Army General Command is committed to improving and enhancing medical services for the troops to ensure they receive quality healthcare.
Additionally, the National Army Commander met with the Togdheer Regional Security Committee to discuss strengthening regional security and further solidifying cooperation between the National Army and security agencies. This inspection and these meetings are part of the National Army General Command’s activities regarding the assessment of the troops’ situation and medical services, as well as the strengthening of cooperation among regional security agencies.
