Somaliland’s representative to Kenya, Hon. Bashe Awil Omar met with the Executive Secretary of the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD), Hon. Mahboub Malin yesterday in his office in Nairobi.
The two diplomats have exchanged views on how IGAD play a positive role on the stalled talks between Somalia/Somaliland. The two sides have further seen eye to eye on how to increase the projects that the body implements in Somaliland. SL representative to Kenya has embarked on diplomatic leverage to boost the ties with experts and diplomats based in Kenya.
Hon. Bashe also received UNSOM Head of relations,Ms Senait Berhane and the UCID’s representative to Nairobi.
