Somaliland leader, His Excellency, Musa Bihi Abdi on Wednesday flies to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia’s capital and is to begin an official working visit after having received formal invitation from Ethiopia’s PM, Dr. Abiy Ahmed. The president of Somaliland is leading ministerial level delegation and has embarked on his first official tour to Ethiopian having assumed the presidency a year ago. Mr. Bihi, Somaliland leader will hold bilateral talks with senior Ethiopian government officials including PM, Dr. Abi Ahmed. The minister for foreign affairs, Mr. Yasin Faraton who spoke on behalf of the delegation said that the president is visiting Ethiopia in order to hold discussions with Ethiopian leaders. The FM has refuted speculations rumored that he will meet with Somalia leader, Mr. Farmajo in Addis Ababa. Mr. Faraton has said that the president of Somaliland will only meet with Ethiopian gov’t officials. Ministers of interior, Mohamed Kahin, foreign affairs, Mr. Yasin Faraton, Finance minister, Mr. Sa’ad Ali SHire and the minister for trade are among the ministers who are members of the delegation accompanying the president.
