Somaliland President Musa Bihi Abdi has appointed National Health Committee to prevent the spread of deadly corona virus in Somaliland.
This was disclosed in a presidential decree that created the committee who will be responsible for the implementation of health measures aimed at preventing the spread of Con-19.

“As you are aware that we have put in place precautionary measures aimed at preventing the spread of Con-19 which is spreading around the world. We have so far mobilized and put on high alert our health specialists who are conducting medical check-ups at the airports, seaports and border crossing points in the country, but we need to double our efforts, be well prepared and further preventive measures.”
The National Health Committee against the prevention of the spread of the deadly Con-19 will be under the patronage of the minister of health.
The committee compromises the minister of health, the minister of interior, minister of information, religious affairs minister, and the minister of education.
The president is hopeful that the committee will do their utmost to be well prepared against the prevention of Con-19.
The committee will meet in order to discuss future measures and security measures to be implemented to prevent spread of coronavirus.
