Ambassador Abdi Abdilahi Hirsi said that Somaliland has achieved diplomatic success by participating in the conference of the British Conservative party, and the issue of Somaliland’s independence has reached British leaders and politicians at the highest level.
Ambassador Abdi who asked the Dawan newspaper about the importance of the participation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Essa at the conference of the British government party said that the diplomatic opportunity gained by Somaliland at the conference of the conservative party came as a result of the long-term efforts of the heads of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Somaliland embassies in the UK, and a good result is expected in the near future.
When asked apart from the Minister of Foreign Affairs attendance what else has been gained, responded Amb Abdi that the conference lasted for four days, the Minister Dr. Isse, the Ambassador had separate meetings with the leaders and politicians who participated, and at the same time the officials of the embassy Miss. He added that the discussion of the issue of Somaliland was addressed by the Minister of Security Hon.
