Somalia’s Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Roble held a meeting with US ambassador to Somalia Larry Andre during which efforts to conclude ongoing parliamentary elections before March 15 deadline were discussed, his office said on Thursday.
Roble said another election delay would be unacceptable and again asked regional presidents to complete ongoing polls before the deadline agreed during a Zoom conference last month.
