The Minister of Health and Human Services in Somalia, Dr. Ali Haji Adam, who is part of the delegations that attended Nutrition For Growth Summit in Paris, held a high level meeting with UK Minister of State for Int’l Development, Baroness Jenny Chapman.
The two ministers discussed ways to advance the health by increasing the funds allocated to develop Somalia’s health sector.
Somalia’s health minister, Dr. Ali Haji has expressed thanks and appreciations to the UK gov’t for providing funds earmarked for the improving the quality of health services to the Somali people.
He also discussed with UK Minister ways to consolidate the working cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting follows Somalia’s plan which is to garner support for its new National health plan 2025-2029.
The health ministry and human services of Somalia is committed to find lasting solutions to health related problems and to get support from the int’l community so that Somalia should have a comprehensive and quality health services which is available to all people across Somalia.
The objective is that the Somalia people will live be healthy and and provide health services that they can get at any time they want.
