Somali security forces on Thursday in conjunction with local residents arrested suspected robbers in Barwqao village in Deynile district in Mogadishu, Somalia’s capital.
Police launched an operation which led to the apprehension of people accused of involving illegal activities such robbery, mobile snatching , theft and creating law and order problems.
The local residents have helped the police to bust the robbers after they have become fed up with them.
The security agencies have confirmed that the suspected robbers will handed them over to court in order to face justice.
The crack down of criminal activities is part of an ongoing efforts to bolster security which is aimed at preventing robbers who pose threat to security of local residents in Mogadishu.
