Senior Somaliland army officer has been removed from command and is in captivity, local media reports on Tuesday.
The army chief Brigadier General Nuh Tani is reportedly issued the arrest order of Colonel Ismail Farah Awil aka Doolaal, the commander of the armed forces stationed in Solol province. The Army chief and the Colonel who has been put behind bars were in dispute according to reliable sources that SL Standard quoted the information from.
Senior officers of Somaliland defense forces are shuttling to bring the lingering dispute between the army chief and the detained Colonel to an end.
