HARGEISA– Hargeisa regional court banned Nuradin private schools not to duplicate Somaliland national curriculum. The court decision has banned private printing agencies and Somaliland’s National Printing Press not to reproduce Nuradin schools for the national curriculum. Reports indicate that the school is accused of duplicating the syllabus without getting a consent from the education ministry.  The court has found evidences that the school deliberately altered the contents without reaching the ministry of education.

This is the first time that a court in Somaliland has issued a verdict on an institution which has breached the copyrights of country’s national curriculum.
