The minister of internal security Mr. Mohamed Kaahin Ahmed was today summoned by the parliamentary committee for economy, trade and finance at the House of Representatives premises.
Parliamentary committee for economy, trade and finance has been busy perusing the 2023 budget to verify the government financial plans.
Minister of Interior was accompanied by his Director General Mr.Mohamed Yusuf Ismael and some departmental heads.
House Committee for economy, trade and finance was chaired by Hon.Abdirashid Abdillahi Musaiil ((Cagaweyne). The chairman was flanked by members of the committee.
Minister Mohamed Kaahin Ahmed elaborated the complex tasks his ministry shoulders and its significance on national security. He reiterated the importance of next year’s budget which he explicitly explained how it will be utilized to secure the country.
The minister also revealed the budget allocation of local government in the 2023 financial plan.
