Somali ambassador to Egypt, Mr. Ali Abdi Awaare has welcomed Banadir regional governor and Mayor of Mogadishu, Mr. Mohamed Ahmed Amir at the Somali Embassy in Cairo. Banadir regional governor and Mayor of Mogadishu leading a delegation is currently on a working visit to Egypt.
The ambassador briefed the governor and the Mayor of Mogadishu the operations that the embassy does for the Somali citizens and the need to rejuvenate the meeting hall of the embassy.
The Governor and the Mayor of Mogadishu has received the evaluation of the funds allocated for the rebuilding of the meeting hall in the embassy.
The Mayor promised that the meeting hall will be refurbished as soon as possible. Ambassador Ali Abdi Awaare expressed thanks to Banadir regional governor and the Mayor of Mogadishu.
He said that the embassy will not forget the support that the mayor has provided in regard to the reconstruction of the meeting of the embassy.
