Reports from Mudug region indicate that inter-clan fighting erupted an area between Jiicboor and Saax Qurun which is located in the west of Mudug region.
According to reports, fierce fighting broke out between two armed clans hailing from Puntland and Galmudug states.
It is reported that the two armed clans used all kinds of heavy weapons during the confrontations.
The heavy fighting resulted deaths and injuries but the exact number of casualties of both sides are not known.
Elders and intellectuals hailing from the two clans have started efforts to cease the fire between the two armed clan militia who are fighting in Mudug province.
