Addis Ababa, February 11, 2019 (FBC) – Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed today held talks with presidents of different African countries on the sidelines of the 32nd African Union (AU) summit.
He conferred with President of Botswana Mokgweetsi Masisi, President of Somalia, Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo, President of Djibouti Ismaïl Omar Guelleh, President of Tunisia Beji Caid Essebsi, President of Ghana Nana Akufo-Addo and President of Sudan Omar Hassan Ahmad al-Bashir.
The discussion was mainly focused on bilateral, continental and other related issues.
The Prime Minister also met with the leaders of Algeria, Morocco, Tunisia and Estonia to discuss various issues of mutual interest.
Yesterday, the Prime Minister also had bilateral meetings with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, South African President Cyril Ramaphosa and Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta.
