Addis Ababa October 16/2018 The House of People’s Representatives (HPR) of Ethiopia has approved a draft law that enables to reorganize executive organs.
The house has voted to approve the draft proclamation unanimously which was forwarded by Ministry Public Service and Human Resource Development on its second regular meeting taking place today.
Accordingly, the new Cabinet is downsized from 28 to 20, fused to speed up the ongoing sweeping reform of the country.
Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed and Minister of Public Service and Human Resource Development Tagese Chafo have appeared before the House to brief the need of restructuring the cabinet.
