Addis Ababa, January 30, 2019 (FBC) –The Ethiopian Air Force said it has carried out airstrike on Al-Shabab base in Burr Haybe, 75 km east of Baidoa, Somalia, on January 24, 2019.
About 35 Al-Shabaab militants, including operation head in the area, were killed in the airstrike conducted for 44 minutes, the Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
The statement added that 4 military vehicles and five high caliber weapons were damaged by the airstrike.
The airstrike conducted previously has also inflicted huge damage on Al-Shabaab fighters, the statement added.
