British ambassador to Somalia, Kate Foster, presented credentials to President Mohmed Abdilahi Farmajo on 10 March. The event took place at Villa Somalia on Wednesday. Ambassador Kate conveyed greetings to the Somali President from Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth 2. The UK envoy expressed great interest in working with the government of Somalia to strengthen the ties between the two countries. Farmajo explained the new UK envoy, Kate about plans achieved in Somalia in terms of security, rebuilding Somalia’s robust army, strengthening good governance, democracy, economic development, and the fight against corruption and extremism in Somalia.
