Hirshabelle state president Hon. Ali Abdilahi Hussein alias Ali Gudlaawe had a telephone conversation today with Turkish ambassador to Somalia, Alper Aktas.
The Turkish ambassador, Alper Aktas thanked the president for showing resilience while the state is engaged an ongoing battle with extremist group of Al-Shabab during the holy month of Ramadan.
Alper conveyed condolences on those who lost their lives and prayed for the swift recovery for those who were injured in the fight against the al-Qaeda-linked terrorist group of Al-Shabab.
He pointed out that the enemy will be defeated soon.
The message sent by Turkish gov’t which is a close ally of Somalia encourages the gallant soldiers who are in the frontlines to fight against Alshabab in Hirshabelle state.
Finally, the president expressed deep thanks to the Turkish ambassador to Somalia for holding a telephone conversation with him.
