Mr. Sam Okiding is expected to be part of the efforts to expedite the operations which are aimed to eradicate Al-shabab militants and terrorist groups that are an obstacle to peace and stability in Somalia.

During his stay in Mogadishu, he is expected to hold high level meetings with top brass Somali officers and the Ugandan officers who are part of the peace keeping mission in Somalia.

The two sides will review the new plan in place which is aimed to handle the war against the militant group of Al-Shabab.
