On March 3rd, 2019, the official hand over ceremony of three farming tractors, donated by Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO), was held at the ministry of agricultural development premises on Sunday. Hon. Ahmed Mumin Seed, the minister of Agriculture, Director General, Mr. Mohamed Ali Maax and FAO Somalia and Somaliland director were present at the ceremony. The minister flanked by the DG have expressed great appreciation for the donations and aid from FAO. The minister has underscored that high cooperation between the ministry of agri and FAO. The donation of farming machinery would improve the scale of agricultural production in Somaliland. During the Ceremony, the keys of brand new tractors were handed over to the minister by FAO officials.
