Somalia’s Federal Government has dispatched medical supplies and Covid-19 testing equipment to Hirshabelle state of Somalia on Thursday in an attempt to contain the spread of the pandemic. A delegation from the office of Somalia’s PM has brought the medical supplies to Jawhar to further boost the testing and responding of coronavirus pandemic. Hirshabelle health minister Abdi Moalim has thanked the SFG for donating the vital equipment. Somalia’s deputy minister of health, Mohamed Abdilahi has said that the supplies is part of government attempts to boost the capability of regional member states to fight against the pandemic.
