Senior officials from Somalia’s National Intelligence Agency (NISA), traveled to Gedo region to finalize the official accord, and the cordial reception that was given to Janan.

Abdirashid, the former security minister was staunchly against Somalia’s Federal Gov’t troops presence in Gedo region.

In addition, an official directive from the state of Jubaland has relieved all duties from the ex- security minister after he entered into peace agreement with Somalia’s FG.
