The European Union in Somalia confirms today that three employees working for the EU base in Somalia have been diagnosed with the novel coronavirus disease (Covid-19). This was disclosed by the current EU ambassador to Somalia, Nicolas Berlanga Martinez Mr. Berlanga has further revealed that the employees have been isolated at a health facility and those they were in contact also were quarantined. Employees at the Halane fortified base also have been diagnosed with Covid-19 cases.
