Somalia receives medical supplies from Turkey

Somalia’s government has received medical supplies from Turkey on Saturday to help intensity fight against COVID-19 pandemic. Somalia’s minister of health Dr. Fowzia Abikar Nur flanked by minister of humanitarian and preparedness against disaster accepted the donations at Aden Abdulle International Airport, Mogadishu. Country’s foreign minister, Ahmed Isse Awad and Turkish ambassador to Somalia were in attendance over the handing over ceremony. Both reiterated that the medical aid come at the right time where Somalia is curbing to contain Covid-19.
