Addis Ababa, February 9, 2019 (FBC) – Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed held discussions with the Norwegian Prime Minister, Erna Solberg, at his office today.
Ethiopia is Norway’s largest foreign station in Africa with bilateral cooperation since 1995.
Prime Minister Dr Abiy commended this support and further reflected on the Scandinavian experience of MEDEMER that enabled the countries to grow together, according to Office of the Prime Minister.
He noted this example as a role model for Horn of Africa integration, the office added.
The Norwegian Prime Minister expressed encouragement of the reforms as well as the regional integration initiatives and committed further support, particularly in education.
