National Electoral Commission started the voter registration exercise in Hargeisa and its environs- the densely populated city across Somaliland.
People in drives arrived at their allocated centers to get their voting cards.
People who did not get their voting cards previously as well as those who have reached the voting age and those who lost their voting cards are eligible to participate in the exercise.
The voter registration drive will continue within three days.
Somaliland is gearing up to hold parliament and local council polls in early 2021.
