According to the Somali government, 30 Al-Shabab fighters were killed in the operations that took place last night and this morning. These fighters are said to have fled from the fighting in Kudhaa settlement in the Lower Jubba region. Additionally, allied troops have carried out a planned operation in remote settlements, resulting in the death of 4 Al-Shabab fighters, as stated by an official statement from the Somali government. These operations are part of ongoing efforts to ensure security and eliminate any remaining Al-Shabab presence, in order to prevent them from launching further attacks.
