The body of Faarah Aidid Jama, who was a member of officers that work the Ethiopian Consulate in Garowe was found in Lasanod on Sunday.
Initial reports say that the late Faarah was abducted from his residence in Lasanod last evening.
He was brutally tortured before his body was found on the outskirts of Lasanod, Sool’s capital.
Reports further indicate that Mr. Faarah was covertly working with Ethiopian Consulate in Garowe.
The gov’t of Ethiopia has not officially spoken of Faarah’s murder.
The motive of his killing is not so far clear.
The murder of Faarah caused panic and anxiety among the residents in Lasanod and its environs and are asking why he was targeted.
Authorities in Lasanod have not spoken of the killing of late Faarah which caused confusion regarding the question pertaining to those who are responsible for his death.
Tension remains high as security agencies and regional authorities will issue a statement regarding the killing.
