Southwest State regional President, Abdiasis Hassan Mohamed alias Laftagaren is on a working visit to Hudur town, Bakool’s provincial capital for the second day running.
The regional President travelled to the province as part of Southwest State’s ongoing efforts to develop the basic services and ways to strengthen the security and peace.
He convened a meeting with Bakool’s provincial and district officials and traditional elders and discussed ways to expedite the implementation of development projects pertaining to the basic services and ways to strengthen the peace and security.
He held consultative meetings pertaining to the development plans that the regional authority is intending to implement in Bakool province.
Bakool is among the three provinces of Southwest State that is less developed in contrast to the rest of the regions.
He was accompanied by Senator Abdinasir Mohamed is a member of the Upper House of Somalia’s Federal Parliament and was part of the tour that the President embarked to the province.
