HARGEISA–Top military commander for UK forces stationed in Ethiopia, Col. Matt Munro paid a courtesy call on Somaliland defense minister, Mr. Isse Ahmed Yusuf aka Xawar, at the Ministry premises today (27th Thursday, Feb. 2019). A cordial discussion was held between the Minister of defense and UK delegation on matters of bilateral relevance and mutual interest. The two sides also discussed on the UK support to Somaliland army and ways to increase the aid allotted to the armed forces. The delegation also embarked an inspection tour to the military hospital which is under revamp and the patients. UK head of mission to Somaliland, Mr. Stuart Brown and head of Axiom Lain Cholerton, Samir Dualeh were also accompanying Col. Matt.
