The transport and road development minister visited yesterday the bridge that links Berbera and Buroa townships. Two people died in an accident that occurred in the bridge just a couple of days ago where a hole appeared after the mash and the asphalt worn out due to lack of maintenance. The minister, Hon. Abdilahi Abokor Ahmed revealed that the government will repair five bridges in May and among the Kala Jabka bridge which links Berbera and Buroa. The minister admitted that it was the failure of the government to renovate bridges which claimed the lost of two lifes. The minister sent condolences to the lifes lost and said that the work will commence soon to rejuvenate the bridges.
