Hargeisa– The high powered Somaliland delegation led by Presidnt Musa Bihi Abdi on Sunday has returned to Hargeisa after wrapping up two day official visit to Guinea Conakry.
Upon arrival at Egal airport, the delegation received a heroes welcome from throngs of die hard citizens and politicians from all parties have showed up at the airport to accord Somaliland delegation with warm welcome. People dressed with Somaliland flag outfits and other waving leaves have turned out in the streets of Hargeisa to welcome the Head of State of Somaliland and his entourage to the capital. The mission behind the receiving of Somaliland president and his delegates was that the visit of its leader to Guinea was a diplomatic breakthrough that Somaliland has made ever since its inception in 1991.
The deputy Somaliland president was part of those who warmly received the return of the president to Hargeisa. Both the deputy president and the chair of Justice & Welfare Party-UCID, Hon. Faisal Ali Warabe, speaking to the throngs of die hard Somaliland citizens have told that the visit was diplomatic triumph and the move from Villa Somalia unified the populace. The president, H.E Musa Bihi Abdi has made an abridged speech at the airport has told the populace that we should remain united against the aggression from Villa Somalia. He also commended that the public showed a high sense of patriotism during this this around.
