The President, Musa Bihi Abdi has received new members of National Electoral Commission at his office on Tuesday, a statement from the presidency said.
Bihi has briefedย NEC members on the current obstacles that have hampered holding parliament and local council elections.
The President spoke about the controversy surroundingย new NEC members.
He also talked about the importance of electionsย in the state.
He also reiterated that that he is interestedย to overcome the recentย constraints that have hindered the polls.
The current NEC members shared the president their accomplishment and whatย they want to achieveย in the long run.
