President Musa Bihi congratulated Ethiopian Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed for receiving the Nobel Peace Award this year in recognition of his efforts to achieve peace nationally and regionally. In a statement, Bihi Said: “On behalf of the people and government of the Republic of #Somaliland. I would like to congratulate the Prime Minister of Ethiopia, H.E.@AbiyAhmedAli, for winning the @NobelPrize for 2019. Congratulations on your well-deserved success. The Noble committee earlier this Friday announced that Abiy Ahmed, the Ethiopian Prime Minister won the prize for his initiative to bringing lasting peace and stability between Ethiopia and Eritrea and ended the protracted hostilities between the two neighboring countries.
