Somaliland Police Commissioner, Brigadier General Abdirahman Abdilahi Hassan, yesterday returned to the country after wrapping up an official working visit to Ethiopia.
Somaliland Police Commissioner held high level meetings with his counterpart, Ethiopian Police Commissioner, General Demelash Gebre Michael.
The two sides discussed ways to consolidate the working cooperation between Ethiopia and Somaliland Police Forces.
They also discussed ways to enhance the cooperation between the two countries in the areas of security.
During his stay in Ethiopia, Somaliland Police Commissioner leading a delegation consisting of top brass officers, visited Ethiopia’s Forensic Institute and Ethiopian Police University College, Sendafa, where Somaliland police officers are currently studying at the college.
The deputy police chief Brigadier Dahir Ali Wa’ays greeted the delegation headed by Somaliland police commissioner upon arrival at Egal Int’l airport.
