Somalia’s Federal Govt has said that Somalia’s President Mohamed Abdilahi Farmajo has extended invitations to the presidents of provincial Federal member states to attend a high level consultative meeting. Benadir regional administration will also be attending the meeting as well.
Political issues at national level will be addressed on the upcoming consultative conference.
Issues of the upcoming 2020 to 2021 Somalia elections will be high on the agenda of the summit.
Before the convening of the consultative meeting, the president of Somalia, Farmajo will hold a virtual meeting with presidents of regional states.
According to Villa Somalia, a technical committee is working on the convention of the virtual meeting.
The statement from Villa Somalia comes at a time when the international community has urged president Farmajo to hold consultations with regional leaders.
