Somalia’s Armed Forces Court sentenced Mr. Omar Hassan Mohamud to death by firing squad. Mr. Omar who is a soldier of the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) faced the allegations that he murdered Lieutenant Hanad Ahmed Muse.
As reported by those who made the accusations, the murder took place in Dharkiinley settlement on July 20, 2024. The court proved that he deliberately committed the murder. The investigation of the murder case was underway for a long time. After a thorough investigation, the Office of the Attorney General asked the court to precede with the judgment hearings of the murder case. After the court held various hearings, the Armed Forces Court subsequently sentenced Omar Hassan Mohamud, ex-NISA soldier to death by firing squad.
