A nurse in Mogadishu has died of Covid-19 as the infection ravages Somalia. Zamzam Ali became the first medic to die of the deadly coronavirus on Sunday just five days after she was admitted into Martini Hospital which is the only isolation facility in the war torn Somalia. Sources said that she tested positive for coronavirus after further test. She was taken to a facility to battle for her life before dying under the watch of her colleges. Details obtained from the family indicate that she worked with the ministry of health in Somalia partly rendered her services at Kalkaal Specialty Hospital facility where she worked as a consultant on nursing.
