Somalia delivers medical equipment to Baidoa in support of the national response to Covid-19 outbreak

Somali Federal Government today has delivered medical supplies to Baidoa as part of Somalia’s response to support the regional member state’s efforts to contain and mitigate the coronavirus pandemic.

The Health Ministry has said that the first medical equipment has arrived in Baidoa, the administrative seat of Southwest state of Somalia and will be delivered to the quarantine center for isolating and treating with Covid-19 patients.

Officials of SouthWest State have expressed thanks to the SFG for handing over the much needed medical equipment which is vital during this difficult time when Somalia is curbing with Covid-19 spread.

SFG claimed that it has dispatched medical aid allocated for regional member states in Somalia in a bid to fight the pandemic.
