The President of Somalia’s Federal Gov’t, Hassan Sheikh Moahmud on Saturday has presided over a meeting that saw the attendance of the Presidents of Federal Member States of Hirshabelle, Southwest, and Galmudug.
The attendance of the meeting by the regional state leaders is part of an ongoing efforts in which the incumbent Somali President Hassan Sheikh is willing to unite the Somali populace which is aimed to rally support for the war against Al-Shabab militants.
The Somali President has lauded the Presidents of the Federal Member States for their shrewd leadership and the crucial role they play when it comes to the coordination of the war against Al-Shabab militants.
During the meeting, the leaders have discussed the importance of the invitation the president has extended to all political stakeholders which is aimed at creating an environment conducive to the unity of the Somali populace and to get support for the ongoing operations against the militants of Al-Shabab.
The defeat of Al-Shabab terrorist group will be the beginning of a huge victory for the nation and the Somali populace.
