The Somali Prime Minister, Hamze Abdi Barre on Sunday made a minor cabinet reshuffle.
The Spokesman of the Somali Federal Gov’t, Farhan Mohamed Jimale has read the cabinet reshuffle to the media.
The minor reshuffle only shifted the Second Deputy Prime Minister, the minister of defense as well as the foreign affairs minister.
The current defense minister, Jbril Abdirashid Haji Abdi was appointed as the second deputy Prime Minister.
He will replace Abdisalan Abdi Ali Dhaay who has been appointed as the Minister in charge of the foreign affairs and international cooperation ministry.
At the same time the foreign affairs minister, Ahmed Ma’alin Fiqi was shifted to the ministry of defense.
He will replace Jibril Abdirashiid Haji Abdi who held the ministry of defense in a short stint.
