The Somali Disaster Management Agency (SoDMA), dispatched medical teams, ambulances and essential medicines to Hiran and Middle Shabelle regions to provide critical healthcare support amid ongoing military operations against Al-Shabab.
The dispatched medical teams will be stationed in Adale District Hospital and will extend the assistance to key areas including Moqokori, Adan Yabal, Haji Ali and Gulane Mosque.
These locations will the forefront of counter-terrorism efforts led by Somali troops backed by local forces.
SoDMA’s Health Director, Dr. Abdulahi Muse Ahmed reaffirmed the agency’s commitment to supporting security forces and affected communities.
