Slovenia’s President to Visit Ethiopia

Addis Ababa October 13/2018 Slovenian’s President Borut Pahor will make a three-day official visit in Ethiopia starting from Monday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

During his stay, the President will meet Ethiopia’s high-level officials including President Mulatu Teshome and discuss bilateral and issues of common concern.

He is also expected to meet Chairperson of the African Union Commission Moussa Faki Mahamat.

President Borut Pahor’s visit will be the first presidential visit to Ethiopia, depicting the desire to forge bilateral ties.

Slovenia, which split from Yugoslavia, became an independent country in 1991.
