Dayaha Boarding school has been revamped and refurbished thanks to Somaliland Development Fund (SDF). The SDF has allocated 750, 000 US dollars for the the boarding school to be rejuvenated.
Sanaag regional governor, Mr. Timbaro who was accompanied by SDF officials and officers from the ministry of education at regional level have toured the boarding school on Thursday to inspect the revamp activities that is going on at the school.
The school stopped operational after the collapse of Somalia’s central government and attempts to rebuild and reconstruct the school did not bear fruit. The school which has been out of operations for more than 27 years is due to restart. The solar panels that will provide electricity to the entire Dayaxa boarding school arrived today.
