Puntland authority has chartered a special plane for a cabinet minister who has been suffering from Covid-19 in Garowe. The plane has airlifted the ailing minister from Garowe airport and has brought him to Mogadishu for a short stopover. The ailing minister who has contracted the deadly coronavirus will be flown to Turkey for intensive medical treatment. Health officials have said that the minister has fully recovered from the deadly Covid-19 infection but the virus has badly damaged the lungs and the respiratory system. If the minister does not receive further medical attention, the lungs will stop functioning. The ailing minister from Puntland, a provincial authority in Somalia is responsible for environment and agriculture, named Ismail Dirie Gamadid.
