Puntland Security Forces have discovered corpses, different kinds of weapons and food stuffs after U.S. Africa Command conducted an airstrike targeting ISIS base two nights before.
The Security forces further said that they found 32 int’l passports belonging to Deash fighters in the after math of the airstrike which targeted the base.
Drones that Daesh used against Puntland security forces were also discovered in the base.
Officers believe that the this is Deash’s last stronghold base in which the airstrike targeted.
U.S., Africa Command conducted the airstrike in Togga Miiraale which is nearby to Bosaso and It was quite hard for Puntland security forces to overpower Deash fighters in the base and enter.
Commanders leading the anti-terrorism operations said that Deash members are currently stationed in three bases.
They promised that the operations against Deash will be wrapped up within the coming days.
