Puntland regional administration has sent a statement to the int’l community in which it appealed to the int’l agencies to include Puntland when it comes to the pacification and stabilization program in Somalia.
The authority said that in a statement that Puntland must be respected in the crucial role it plays when it comes to the fight against terrorism.
The statement issued by Puntland has urged the int’l community not to turn a blind eye the need to provide basic services to settlements that ISIS were liberated.
The statement from the Ministry of Interior focused on the dire situation that settlements in Al-Miskaad are faced with while ISIS were liberated from the areas.
The Press release also urged the int’l community to pay a particular attention to Al-Madow Mountain areas where operations against Al-shabab militants will commence.
