NISA Soldiers in collaboration with Int’l Partners carry out an airstrike in Adan Yabaal district

Soldiers of the National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) in conjunction with Int’l Partners carried out an airstrike which targeted a residential house that locates in Adan Yabaal district in Middle Shabelle province.

The operation precisely targeted the residential house as it is believed that senior Al-Shabab leaders get together and hold crucial meetings.

During the airstrike, the residential house engulfed in flames and loud explosion rocked the entire district which indicated that it was storage facility in which Al-Shabab store heavy weapons and explosives. Officers of the security agencies confirmed that the airstrike was meticulously planned and its objective to target senior Al-Shabab leaders.

Officials details of the casualties have not been announced in regard to the airstrike although gov’t officials underlined that the operation is part of the constant efforts which aimed against the terrorist groups like Al-Shabab which attempted to establish Adan Yabaal district a center where they mobilize attacks against the Somali troops and the populace, and to defend its deadly attacks from the Somali populace.
