The Director of National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) Abdullahi Mohamed Ali alias Sanbalooshe is holding meetings in Moqokori district which are aimed to expedite the ongoing operations against the militant group of Al-Shabab which are underway in Hiiraan and Middle Shabelle provinces.
NISA director is in Moqokori for the fourth day running, and met with traditional elders hailing from Hiiraan province. He requested from them to double their efforts when it comes to the war against Al-Shabab which is underway for the past days in settlements in Hiiraan region.
He commended the elders from Hiiraan province the crucial role that they played when it comes to the operations which are aimed to eradicate the militant group of Al-Shabab from the region. He promised to the elders that they will get the support they need from the Somali Federal Gov’t.
Elders from Hiiraan province expressed deep thanks and appreciations to NISA Director the crucial role regarding the mobilization and standing by the local defense forces known as Ma’awisley who are engaged a war with Al-Shabab fighters.
The meeting that NISA director is holding in Moqokori town comes at a time when fierce fighting ensued between local defense forces known as Ma’awisley from Hawadle clan and Al-Shabab fighters which occurred in settlements in Hiiraan province.
