Members of the Council of Presidential Candidates and foreign envoys yesterday held high level meeting with the leaders of the National Consultative Council as election talks continue in Somalia’s capital for the second day running. The PM of Somalia Mohamed Husein Roble held a meeting of the National Consultative on Monday. Details of the meeting remains unknown between leaders of the opposition groups and foreign ambassadors. The opposition as well as foreign envoys held separate meetings with the council, including regional presidents, the PM and the governor of Banadir region. James Swan, UN envoy to Somalia said he was pleased to join the Int’l Partners who met with in Mogadishu and encouraged NCC to expedite the electoral process and improve its credibility for the good of all Somalis.
